About Me

Trisha and her husband, Ron, have lived in Sandy for over 24 years. They are proud parents of five sons, one daughter, and two daughter-in-laws. Serving on a variety of community boards, Trisha cares deeply about her family and her community and continues to be involved in her neighborhood schools and in her church. 

As a legislator, educator, and small business owner, Trisha has served her community by building political bridges, advocating for those in need, and making a difference in Utah’s schools.

Known for her powerful advocacy for quality education and for her work on disability issues, Trisha served as a citizen advocate for many years. After being appointed by Governor Leavitt to the Utah State House, Trisha gained a reputation as an effective listener who builds political bridges to pass legislation that benefits the people rather than partisan interests.

Re-elected because of her commitment to her constituents, Trisha would like to continue serving you as your Representative in order to improve education, restore our economy, and provide open and honest government.
